District Announcement: Safety first. As required by Tennessee state law and through our ongoing commitment to student safety, Hawkins County Schools will be showing age- appropriate firearm safety education videos to all students on Friday, September 4, 2026.

We’re inviting students and staff across Hawkins County Schools to participate in our Attendance Awareness Month Dress-Up Days from September 28–October 2.
Sept. 28 – My Presence Rocks! 🎸
Be a Rock Star Day! Wear a shirt of your favorite singer/band.
Sept. 29 – My Presence Is Super! 🦸
Superhero Day! Wear your favorite superhero shirt. Sometimes, all you have to do to be a hero is show up.
Sept. 30 – My Presence Makes Me a Champion! 🏆
Jersey/Sports Day! Represent your favorite team, athlete, or sport.
Oct. 1 – My Presence Deserves the Spotlight! 🎬📚
Movie/Book Character Day! Bring your favorite character to life.
Oct. 2 – My Presence Matters! 💙❤️
School Spirit Day! Show your school pride and finish Attendance Awareness Month strong!

Hawkins County Schools is partnering with the Hawkins County Health Department to offer convenient, in-school flu vaccine clinics during the school day for students!

Thursday, Oct 1: CHMS, RMS, Pathways, Clinch
Second Dose Schedule: Wednesday, Nov 4: All necessary locations (Required for students receiving the flu vaccine for the first time).
