To ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient dismissal for all students, we are updating our dismissal procedures beginning Monday, August 10, 2026.
🚗 Car Rider Pick-Up Policy
Car Tags Required: All vehicles in the pick-up line must display an official car rider tag.
Missing Tags: Drivers without a visible tag will be directed to a designated waiting area until general dismissal finishes so student identities can be verified safely.
Need an Extra Tag? Every student received one free tag at enrollment. Additional tags can be purchased in the main office for $5 (exact change only).
🏫 Office Hours During Dismissal
Temporary Closure: The main office will be closed daily from 2:55 PM to 3:10 PM. Dismissal is an "all hands-on deck" process, and our staff's full attention will be dedicated to supervising students at the bus and car loading areas.
Early Check-Outs: Please note that checking a student out before 3:00 PM counts as an unexcused tardy. As a reminder, 5 tardies equal 1 full day of absence.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to keep our students safe!

Due to a recent state system update, Skyward data is currently not syncing smoothly to Thrillshare. This may temporarily affect parent logins, contact info, and automated calls (including transportation).
We will continue sending notifications through normal channels, but please check our Facebook page, website LiveFeed (www.hck12.net), or the HCS Mobile App Feed for the most up-to-date information.
For assistance with the HCS App, please contact Nikki Manning at 423-272-7629 ext. 2053. Thank you for your patience!

NO SCHOOL AUGUST 6.
We will be closed for election day.
